I've decided I'm having a siesta this afternoon come what may. I'm going to be watching inside a bar. It'll be the first time in over a year I've been inside one. Mrs D is worried about it but has been fully vaccinated, I've only had my first.

I'm expecting a drink or two might, possibly, be had.

FFS just opened a cider #bitearly
I have just finished mine. Had a bottle of Westons Vintage and a Sainsburys own brand tinny but have had to go for a can of G & T that was lurking in the fridge. Going to pop up to the petrol station when it opens at 7am and am planning on an afternoon nap before the big event.

Come what may, it's important to remember this won't be our only great chance to win something. Some of the ages of some of the players are staggering. Bellingham 18, Saka 19, James, Foden & Sancho 21, Rice & Mount 22. Even veteran Rashford is only 24 and Harry Kane is 27.
I only realised the other day that we have the World Cup at the end of next year, well hopefully.

I fancy our chances in that far more ,coming from this final and the semi final last time, with this group of lads.

Most capped player in the side is Raheem Sterling, practically pensionable at 26.

Henderson, Tripper and Walker are our only over 30s. It's not just the world Cup next year, the euros in 3 years as well - this squad will evolve but there will barely be a single player having to be replaced through necessity.

FEB done. Spliff lit.

Come on England!

Pace yourselves

Just had an interesting (to me, at least) discussion with mates about what deal you'd make with the football gods. For what would you trade an England win tonight? For me, it'd be Luton making the play-offs, or beating W**ford to reach an FA Cup final.
