Yes, on my facebook too. They are invariably awful and ill-informed diatribes which beg people to vote Remain because 'won't you think of the children'.

I know I should vote leave, but struggle to stomach doing so. Right now it's 50/50 if I even go to the polling station. And if I do its 50/50 between actually voting and just writing abuse on the ballet paper.

If it makes any difference it looks highly likely to be a Remain vote by some margin. A result that will energise capital, the Tories and the Labour right.

Well, I don't know which academic you're referring to, but there is an argument to say this is the wrong question asked at the wrong time by the wrong people. That many of the electorate are using the opportunity to answer a question of their own their own choosing is entirely Cameron's fault.

Reckon it'll be high 50s for remain (status quo). If it felt like the non-righwingers would actually do something useful with a leave vote, I'd definitely do that. But they aren't anywhere and God know what a shambles we'd end up with.

I'm genuinely unsure what to do.

I just wrote "THEY'RE ALL CUNTS" on mine. With a sharpie. Not coz I'm a conspiraloon who thinks They will change my vote, but they don't leave much room for you to add your own message so I just wrote over what was already there and a pencil or biro would've been hard to read.

You know that normally I say that you should all go out and vote no matter who it's for, whether it's Tory, Labour or Monster Raving Looney Party! This tme is different because we are voting on whether or not we want to share anymore. As a mother I do my best to ensure that my child knows how to share and co-operate, yet I am shocked and appalled that our own politicians no longer want us to share with the French or Germans just because they are foreign. That is wrong. If you care about the future of my child, and want to see him share with German and French children, you will vote Remain. From Oslo to Cádiz (where I last went on holiday, check out my snaps in my latest FB album upload) we are all one big planet earth. So don't be racist, vote Remain.

Capital will be energised regardless of the outcome. Whichever way the outcome is there will be serious money to be made for the City boys as per usual. Besides more than a few hedge funds are backing out anyway.
