My mate is annoyed as he's not received his postal vote. I'm voting bremain. Is anyone as excited as I am about this? Thiis is history in the making n we're living it. Looking forward to what happens. Hope we stay. Very interesting reading all the comments re this debate. Loving this forum as a new member.

Whichever way you are going to vote, please don't leave it until the last minute.
Think about preventing the chaos in the general election (at polling stations in, for example, Sheffield Hallam) when some voters lost out.
I'm planning to go early afternoon, that is usually the quietest time. It is officially Market Day, although the main stall holders haven't shown up for several weeks now, ever since the pitch charge went up. The local farmers' Market does better.
I'll also take great delight in telling the exit pollsters to take a hike. Well I may be polite enough to say, "Yes I have voted, and No I'm not telling you how I voted"

So basically your message is: "vote early, vote often"?

I woke up at 5 with a feeling of dread. I don't know if that counts as excitement though. :(

There are no exit pollsters for this one.

There were tellers at my polling station who accosted me on the way in. I had no idea if they were working for leave or remain, or whether the two campaigns would share info so I told them I didn't have my polling card.

No one at my polling station except two nice women dealing with the details and pacing themselves because they are there from 07:00 to 22:00 ..

Did any of you use a pen to vote?

I have just voted to leave and now happily await the imposition of working class rule, that beautiful harbinger of a liberated humanity.

Tomorrow I'm going to have to denounce Master MacNeice and Mrs MacNeice for their counter revolutionary activity today (and this was after I had carefully explained it all to them...more than once)...better do something nice together this evening.
