The pitch is not great in terms of a 5 day contest. But in terms of the pitch collapsing underneath the front foot of a pace bowler, it's downright dangerous - it's lucky that the slows are doing the brunt of the work, because last night Stokes was a knackered ankle ligament waiting to happen.
