I've got a bitcoin transaction that seems to be stuck? I transferred it last night but it's still unconfirmed. I can't see anyway to recall it or anything like that (using Electrum as a wallet) - anyone here have any ideas of what I might be able to do to get the transaction cancelled so I can get my btc back?

Cheers, there's no actual problem it's just taking an order of magnitude longer than it ever has before. Dunno why as I've basically always paid the lowest fees electrum allows but it's fine and the page joustmaster linked me to reckons it'll be max 240 minutes now...

Never used any of them type of site, but they do all want ID and Skype calls and shit to prove who you are.

if you want fast (but expensive BTC) get down to CEX most have a BTC ATM, you will pay 10-15% over the current rate.

I've got verification confirmed on bitstamp, set up 2 stage authentication & transferred some money from my bank account into my new bitstamp - it might take a while to appear though as its an international transfer. Exciting, sort of.
