Have to agree with you on the Crack thing. 'You sound like you've got a habit' is a shitty accusation, however much it's meant as a generic put down.

However I did like Kebabking's post, minus the crack thing. You were talking shite in the post he quoted. ;)

Absolutely fair enough and to tell you the absolute truth I have such a thick skin that being called a (whatever) junkie is like water off a ducks back. However this should not be used as a shorthand to diss any opinion by any poster.
This thread has moved on as you observed you do not look a div. I mean you took the time to post and bearing in mind we are all a few spliffs to the wind, we'll call it a day.

Are you perhaps trying to use my opinions to try and shame me if not what was the purpose?
I want them to create their own destiny without being hounded by hundreds of cops social workers and lastly more importantly the press. Without all this brouhaha it might have been possible for them to go and optain medical help if needed on the quiet. Now I do not think that this would be possible. This is a fox hunt. Desperation is setting in. We do not want to push people beyond what they may bear. Not even Jesus did that

Yes I am. See you can be perceptive if you try hard enough.

This is not a 'fox hunt'. It's a small child at risk. Your sub 6th form libertarianism is frankly embarrassing. Or would be if anyone gave a hoot about your crayoning.

It doesn't take a genius to realise that the reason for this alert and the massive resources being poured into the response, is that one or both have either killed or seriously injured or assaulted (sexually or otherwise) a baby before

This is also a thread that is less than appropriate for arguing and petty point scoring. I will now again bow out rather than try to argue the toss with some one who knows as little as me on the ins and outs of the situation.

Actually that’s far from definitely the case - there’s many ways in which children can be deemed at risk of significant harm and deliberately and/or seriously injuring a previous child is only one of those ways. It’s the risk assessment of such harm being possible that warrants the search.

More broadly and regarding the gossip conversation earlier, humans are social creatures and speculating about our fellow beings is part of our basic make up. At least half of the relationship problem threads in nobbing and sobbing involve huge amounts of speculation. Personally I’ve always seen gossip as when there’s active glee and superiority in that speculation. I don’t see anyone doing that here… but we can all remind ourselves periodically of what’s known and isn’t known.

Tbf I am well aware I have the potential to be nosy. I keep it in check ;)

If people weren’t interested in other people then the world wide library of written and filmed culture would be much narrower. And most news stories have people within them somewhere, even if they’re often as numbers which are hard to conceptualise rather than seen individuals :(

I'd be more worried if no placenta had been found tbh as post partum haemorrhage due to retained placenta iis amongst top reasons for maternal death.

The placenta can be checked to ensure it is all there.

That's something interesting I didn't know, is it on your checklist to make sure of that? I don't remember anyone doing anything like that when mine were born but I was kinda distracted.
