Didn't make it in the end - doing it tonight instead.
Went into autopilot and started following the recipe I had up on the wall for tonight instead - so we had gammon steaks with pineapple, cucumber and avocado salsa - well lush

Yesterday we had homemade pizzas - onion/olive/mozz/cheddar/pecorino and onion/Polish frankfurter/mozz/cheddar/pecorino, then apple/pear/plum oaty crumble with clotted cream ice cream.
Today is hoisin pork steaks for me and the boy and some Linda Mc shredded hoisin duck for the girl, with steamed pak choi and broccoli in a bit of sesame oil/soy sauce and rice. Almond fingers and grapes for pudding.

A fish finger sandwich with iceberg lettuce, capers and mayo.
Apple crumble and cream for afters.

Marinated chicken with veg stir fry. Veg consisted of garlic, ginger, chilli, grated carrots, mushrooms, onions, bean sprouts, in a rich soy and sherry sauce with rice...and pan fried walnuts
on top.
It was delicious.
Mini cornetto for dessert.

Sunday dinner, lamb cutlets for the meat and all the trimmings.

Raspberry cheesecake and washed down with a couple of pints of gluten free San Miguel.

After I'd prepared an apple crumble and some seitan, I realised the bloody oven's bloody element had gone, so everything went back in the bloody fridge and we had a Pizza Express takeaway instead, which was lovely.

Taste the Difference kale and mushroom pizza which I was disappointed to realise was a white pizza (ie no tomato) but it was actually really nice.

A bit sharp. Some of the grapes were a bit underripe. I now have an entire bucket full of juice and not enough plastic bottles - I normally freeze it. Might have to see if a pub will give me some.

There's something about it though [pours a third glass]. Even in sweeter years it has quite a green, vegetable quality. It's like vitamins in a glass. In better years there's a whiff of banana, probably because ethylene.

Veggie pizza. Accidentally ended up with two pizzas in the fridge with a use by tomorrow - so having one tonight means I won't have to force myself to eat two pizzas in one day.
