What's for tea tonight? (#8)

I seized the chance to have a friend round for supper in the garden while the weather's nice. Made summer rolls with smoked tofu in and a peanut dipping sauce, tomato and mozzarella salad with sun dried tomatoes and basil, bread from the nice stall. Blackcurrant fool with meringues for pud. MY blackcurrants a la Ron Merlin.

Margherita pizza, flat garlic bread, salad. I have some courgettes doing nowt in the fridge so will roast them with some garlic as an extra topping for the pizza.

Prosecco, pinot grigio, and Scrabble first.

For pudding I've stuffed crunchy peanut butter into medjool dates and covered them with dark chocolate. I'll have 3 if them with a cuppa.

Not the cheapest meal but by god it's tasty.

We're on holiday by the sea (Denmark so lockdown is different) so a takeaway pizza on a bench by the beach. Fish buffet Sunday, can't wait!

Small dishes - petiscos at a not so cheap but not so expensive bar in Ferreiras. The small dishes are in fact quite generous bigger portions than tapas, so a plate of fried cuttle fish in batter, plate of clams, and a plate of large prawns and bread , three bottles of Sagres for 24 euros which to be honest would have been enough for two people .

We're on freezer-foraged 3 bean chilli, with brown rice, extra mature cheddar, and sour cream.

Can't decide between choccy cake or that fit fig, date and grain yoghurt for afters.

Clearing freezer space so batch Sri Lankan fish curry, parsnip and sweet potato mash and petits pois. Garlic and coriander naan as well as a chunk of seedy baguette. Blueberries with oat cream for afters if I can fit it all in.
