Having a few guests around later for Father's Day. On the menu is hot dogs, chicken tikka made on the BBQ, potato salad, macaroni salad, coleslaw, regular salad, macaroni cheese with brocolli and jalapenos, corn on the cob, buns and a few other things i can't remember. My little brother is making most of the food, i did the shopping and some prep work. Oh and fresh squeezed lemonade. And a custom made red velvet cake with cream cheese frosting
yes but my middle brother is in from Chicago only for today so we're celebrating earlyIsn't that tomorrow

clearing the fridge day. in no particular order...
potato salad (jersey royals, mayo, aioli, spring onions, chives)
"bbq" ribs (oven long and slow, with a final blast at 9)
roast veg (yellow pepper, courgette, red onion, tomatoes various, greek basil, lemon juice, olive oil, moar basil when it comes out)
garlic mushmooms a la vegan
fancy hotdogs for those that do (would have been a vegan option but she already ate them
vegan option: roll)
fried onions a la vegan
sweetcorn, steamed (nearly severed a finger trying to cut them in half. so just 2 of these
)
posh meat, in honour of father's day - "dad" pork pie already consumed for breakfast

Boneless chicken thighs marinated in tandoori seasoning and olive oil. roasted in the oven and served with creamy coleslaw.
