Don’t be silly, they wouldn’t call it a million person march if it didn’t have a million people.Sky News reporter saying there's nowhere near a million people, probably around 10 to 20,000 people.
It’s a milllion maga march, not a million people. Every attendee has 100 pieces of merch with said slogan onDon’t be silly, they wouldn’t call it a million person march if it didn’t have a million people.
FAKE NEWS !!Sky News reporter saying there's nowhere near a million people, probably around 10 to 20,000 people.
Of all the things I've learned about the USA over the past few years, the most amazing is how even people in good jobs are content with only two weeks' holiday in order to enjoy the great outdoors ..
That is something that has happened since Reagan liberalisation. I worked for a UK General Motors subsidiary making steering wheel columns in 1973. Iirc we got 3 weeks holiday a year, but our US counterparts got more, and got a one year paid sabbatical after 20 years.Yes, I once worked in a firm where EU workers all had 25 days but the American employees had just 15.
Let's hope with UK moving away from EU that there isn't downwards pressure on holidays here!

Way more than that. Most people in the US don't leave within easy travelling distance of DC.Those are the ones motivated to show up. How many others hold the same views, don't consider themselves radical, that stayed home? You can figure at least 10X more. So we have up to 200,000 people who hold those views, more or less.

President Trump has told friends he wants to start a digital media company to clobber Fox News and undermine the conservative-friendly network, sources tell Axios.
"He plans to wreck Fox. No doubt about it," said a source with detailed knowledge of Trump's intentions.
Here's Trump's plan, according to the source:
- There's been lots of speculation about Trump starting a cable channel. But getting carried on cable systems would be expensive and time-consuming.
- Instead, Trump is considering a digital media channel that would stream online, which would be cheaper and quicker to start.
- Trump's digital offering would likely charge a monthly fee to MAGA fans. Many are Fox News viewers, and he'd aim to replace the network — and the $5.99-a-month Fox Nation streaming service, which has an 85% conversion rate from free trials to paid subscribers — as their top destination.
Unnamed sources, but this is pretty much my lead suspicion of what Trump'll do after. Whether he eventually uses it to launch a 2024 campaign I can't be sure, but I'd genuinely be a bit surprised. He never wanted the job, and he could play it off as "I've already done that, they stole it from me, why would I want to go back there?".
"He plans to wreck Fox": Trump eyes starting his own digital media empire
Some Trump advisers think Fox News made a mistake with an early call of a Biden win in Arizona.www.axios.com
If any developing nation on the planet acted like this, America would be chomping at the bit to enforce sanctions or military action by now.So the autocratic leader is refusing to concede the election to his rival, purging the military, and attacking the media while thousands of his supporters, including militia members, have gathered in the capital. Is it time to send in the UN peacekeepers yet?

Not yet. Everything I’ve seen and heard from commentators I trust suggest these are toothless threats. Hence why Biden is laughing. So the autocratic leader is refusing to concede the election to his rival, purging the military, and attacking the media while thousands of his supporters, including militia members, have gathered in the capital. Is it time to send in the UN peacekeepers yet?
State GOP lawmakers in Arizona, Michigan, Pennsylvania and Wisconsin have all said they would not intervene in the selection of electors, who ultimately cast the votes that secure a candidate's victory. Such a move would violate state law and a vote of the people, several noted.
“I do not see, short of finding some type of fraud — which I haven’t heard of anything — I don’t see us in any serious way addressing a change in electors,” said Rusty Bowers, Arizona’s Republican House speaker, who says he’s been inundated with emails pleading for the legislature to intervene. “They are mandated by statute to choose according to the vote of the people.”
