US election 2020 thread

The guy who does those trump impressions they used the audio for on this is amazing, check out his other clips if you haven't already

While trying to kill a tense moment in this period of waiting the other night, I resorted to the latest incarnation of Peter Serafinowicz's Sassy Trump, now featuring in a new form as a deepfaked Sassy Justice.

Alaska haven't announced anything for over a day.
Nothing from North Carolina all day either.
Georgia have announced just over 100 votes in the past two hours despite ten separate announcements.
Even Pennsylvania is trickling in...
Well don't wait up on the first two cos they're not gonna do a thing now until they all their mail votes in next week
Georgia presumably have to wait to see if any more of those overseas ballots show up in the post and the provisional ballot verification takes time as well
PA - Philly vote is now just overseas & provisionals and will take a couple of days. Pittsburgh resumes counting the last 35k votes at 10pm our time after closing down yesterday to accommodate reconfiguring the counting centre for GOP observers to piss and moan about everything

Bannon gets a twitter perma ban...

One hopes his bail will be revoked too. He's out on bail for a fraud case. One of the common provisions for bail is to avoid getting into trouble before trial. I'd say that urging people to commit violence against anyone, let alone two public officials, would be cause for revocation.

I know I said I was done with swipes at awful Labour MPs and their appropriation of other people's glory but here's someone who said she'd sack Diane Abbott when she'd only been an MP five minutes, told lies about telling her to fuck off so she'd look good in front of her mates in the press and deposed Dawn Butler as chair of the women's PLP:

Fucking front of her

His lawyer has just left him did you see? Trial delayed whilst he tries to find a new lawyer.

the GOPpers have tried this sort of thing a number of times over the years, it ALWAYS backfires

The Republican National Committee promoted a voter fraud hotline on Twitter Wednesday. But it was soon swamped with replies from people claiming to have reported President Donald Trump for election misconduct.

spot on, Phillips is a repulsive piece of shit. Pure scum

Trump is getting some stronger results in Arizona. I should probably step back from the detail and see the big picture at this stage, but the more decisive his defeat the better IMO... even if a decisive victory for Biden is at best a mixed blessing.

Wait for midnight. Maricopa County (Phoenix) posts its next results then. If it's knife-edge after that, then start to worry. ;)
