To be fair, that kind of analysis is way beyond the broadcasters, who are still rabbit-in-the-headlights with only the most basic of information and insight trying to take it all in.
(Unlike me, clearly keeping my composure nicely, even despite the student level of empty cans around me)
They’re just being teases, the fuckers. They’ve counted it all but they’re not telling yetGeorgia, Trump is up seven points but almost everything left is the Atlanta metro where Biden needs a wide margin but that's very possible
Erm, Biden's ahead on the popular vote
Erm, Biden's ahead on the popular vote and California still has millions to count
Haha! Burst pipe in Atlanta held everything upThey’re just being teases, the fuckers. They’ve counted it all but they’re not telling yet
It's very possible that Biden could win the popular vote by a wider margin than Clinton but lose the electoral college
What! You're talking crazy here dia. Biden is going to win the popular vote and every piece of evidence so far indicates he will win it by more than Clinton (polling, shift in completed counties, etc)Sure, but if Biden was going to lose anything it would be the popular, not the electoral.
No, other way round.Sure, but if Biden was going to lose anything it would be the popular, not the electoral.
biden claims he's feeling good, says 'keep the faith guys we're gonna win this', looks frail.

Well I don't think he will lose the electoral vote - but FL, NC and GA, which were all toss-ups, are leaning Republican (though see JTG s posts on GA).And what's the evidence that he'll lose the electoral?

But it has long, long been outlined that the GOP have an EC advantage.
I think you're getting mixed up about this. And what's the evidence that he'll lose the electoral?
I'm not saying he can't win both popular and electoral. I'm saying that if he was going to lose anything, in a hypothetical scenario, it would be the popular, which at the moment he is not.
Don't spoil my night with a discussion on popular vote pls .

Democrats have won the popular vote in six out of the last seven elections, and Biden is well on track to do the same this time around. He may well win the electoral college too, but the popular vote is by far the more certain of the two.
