Of those reasonable alternatives, the least appropriate for the name of the show, though, seems to be the first one. It isn’t the army that the watchers’ dads were in, at least for the vast majority of the audience. By the time the show was made, the watchers would have had dads that were largely born late enough to have been in the main army at most.

I'm not scared of socialism. I voted for Hillary but didn't campaign for her. Krugman supports Bernie. He simply made the observation the term "socialist" gives the Repubs a weapon. And I think the campaign will prove him right.

In truth, the only people the 'socialist bogeyman' will work on are the older, more nativist voters who are pretty.much in the bag for Trump anyway. Not a single voter under 40 is bothered
