Do you think it will last a further 30 years? With a heavy heart I've changed the title to read 2022-2055, marking yet more suffering and death for children, civilians and soldiers in this pointless war.
no it isn't. perhaps you should re-examine the nato accession process.
i think you'll find that the existing members possess a veto over accessions, so it is by no means 'each country's choice' whether they become members. entering the process is meaningless - the central african republic could send in a form, but it would be undoubtedly binned in the nato post room.Yes it is. Entering into the process is voluntary. Putin's process is not.
Oops. Typo fixed. I hope I wasn't calling upon hitherto unforeseen Mystic Meg abilities there.Do you think it will last a further 30 years?
Still, you never know until you try.the central african republic could send in a form, but it would be undoubtedly binned in the nato post room.
Indeed. We’re not quite at the point where such decisions are left in the hands of an AI."people"

Another year. No lessons learned.
It's disappointing that after more than a thousand pages of this thread that threadbare analogy is the best you can come out with. One thing about clubs is they can reject prospective members, and until something drastic changes there's no way Ukraine will be admitted to nato no matter how much they want to join the alliance. They'll be blackballed for the foreseeableIt's like a club isn't it pm? And I think you'll find that all members chose to be in it
