The Traitors ‘24 (starts Wed 3/1/24 9pm).

If there were such a thing as a Traitors holiday, where you stay in a castle with a load of strangers and spend all week stabbing each other in the back, I would totally pay money for that.
I would pay money to walk around that, eavesdropping and eating popcorn.

I want Ross to be recruited and avenge his mother but I don't think he has the nous.
I'm glad your prediction was off on this one, looking forward to next week's madness.

My kids are 16 and in the age of so choice it can be tricky to find telly that we can all enthusiastically watch together. My partner pretends not to like it and harps on about how it's morally reprehensible but we know she loves it really :D. As per previous series- a program that brings out the worst in people proves great for family bonding......
Similar here - I wasn't fussed at first but then my husband started watching it with our 13yo and I got drawn in :D It's actually brilliant family viewing for this stage where there's very little we can all agree on, and I'm very glad of it.

Poor Ross, he's rubbish at this. :D
We were saying that Ross and Zack should start a Wrong Blokes consultancy together, they're both so rubbish :D

very entertaining tv this week...big question for me though is How come it hasn't rained once considering its being filmed in the highlands? in fact actively sunny is 95% of outdoor shots

What I’ve been wondering about is the darkness. If it’s filmed in summer, it doesn’t get dark until really late. Then starts getting light early. In fact in midsummer, it doesn’t get fully dark at all.

Even the weather isn't being faithful

Love love the traitors. Loved the US version also.
Anyone tried New Zealand version? Some small things are different. But it's those small things that's put me right off.

Yes, that did cross my mind with the funeral, which was meant to start after breakfast and finished when it was dark. Obviously it might have been filmed a long time after breakfast, or even in two different parts, because I doubt they were marching for the whole day.

Filming began on September 21, 2023 fact fans....seems risky to me
OK, well September is generally a good month, weather wise. Midges are usually gone by then too. And the end of September will be the Autumn equinox, so that’s good thinking. Seems like the ideal time for filming.

They had a pretty good midge cloud on one of the tasks - that one where they were all falling in the pond. I can remember thinking being underwater probably wasn't such a bad place to be.

The lack of midges on Orkney might have helped us choose our holiday destination this year. They bloody love Mrs V, the little bastards.

To be fair the midge season is extending, as well as the midge area. I’m talking about the old normal before climate change ramping up.

We all watch it together too, one of the few things we all enjoy shouting at. It does mean we have to wait all the time though! We're caught up right now but won't watch the next episodes until Saturday. I just avoid the thread though!

I've no idea why they decided to recruit. Harry did have a valid argument about being able to cover it up due to his shield, but even with that it was daft not to just murder again. Apart from anything else, it could potentially mean the prize pot being split three ways.

The shield and fake attempted murder could have one advantage though - they're all starting to wonder why he hasn't been killed yet, so now he can dismiss that reason by pointing out that they have tried.
