I see that the loathsome Bob Stewart is in court now over his attacks on the Bahrani activist (racially aggravated public order offence). From the reporting at least, the key phrase was 'get back to Bahrain' though other shite was spewed forth. Goes without saying that 'get back to X' has long been a racist phrase and Stewart is a scumbag, in the pay of the Bahrani regime. Must admit though, I was a little surprised that the CPS took this forward and didn't hide behind some form of words along the lines of 'not meeting the threshold'. Don't get me wrong, I'm delighted when bad things happen to bad people and 'get back to your own country' is dehumanising and racist. However there's also also a little bit of me that thinks that when there are protests and the target bites back, that's par for the course. But yeah, when that response is racist, fuck him.
