So, the Conservatives in my town have voted to give their leader of the town council an over 270% allowance increase. Not sure what he needs it for, all he seems to do is cosplay in a high viz jacket and hard hat, on a bulldozer, for a photo opportunity on the latest building or road he's had ripped up, causing chaos.

Well I am not going to buy anymore Peter Andre records following this.
I couldn't find a general "Grant Shapps is a bit of a twat" thread - surprising, given his history, unless it was titled under one of his other names. Nonetheless the interview he gave C4 at the Tory conference is skin-crawling, especially his Dorries-like devotion to one their disgraced former leaders.
