The 6 Nations 2019 Thread

Perplexed as why Cooney with 90 seconds to go kicks the ball away. Not a good performance, better than last week but the accuracy was poor. Far too much passing to air. Aki’s worst game for Ireland.

The ref is not bothered by the offside line. Don’t think anyone has been behind the hind most foot. Still he’s been unfair to both sides.

Defeat from the jaws of victory! Very us
I think you are being harsh. I don’t really think Scotland were ever in control enough to look like winning. Definitely didn’t snatch defeat from the jaws of victory

I don’t buy into the “Scotland are getting there” narrative either. They lost easily today at home to an Irish team playing well below par. How many mistakes did they make in the second half?

Maybe but that Italy team is getting better, they now have a bench which is a dramatic development. Their replacement loose head was awesome in open field.

Two things I genuinely think Wales are focused on the WC, I guess Gatty knows no one remembers who wins the 6n in WC year.

Also Gatty looks like he’s sick.

Yep, if anyone came out of that with positives, I'd say it was Italy. No longer are they shipping 20 points in the last quarter.

Maybe they are focused on the wc, not sure how that performance will help them, well apart from providing useful pointers as to what not to do, but my local colts side could've told them all that

Yeah, Gatty doesn't look good does he?

E2A: well, worse than usual

Can't wait for the game tomorrow , wonder if the French will have Beaker from the muppets playing again:cool:

Just watched Wales game. Im slightly less confident now for the english match. But lets be clear-Italys defence was great. And despite Wales showing composure (certainly compared to last weeks first half against France) Italy did a sterling job holding them off.

What gives me some hope. Wales nearly always up their game for England. Its a home match. Gatland wont experiment with the game against England. What does worry me-is we will struggle against english physicality if they play like they did against Ireland. If England keep hold on the ball we'll struggle (again assuming they play like they did against Ireland).

Without question-England will see this match as the GS decider for them. Beat wales and its in the bag. Equally Wales will understand the importance of the win for them. Whoever wins the match-goes on to win the GS

I wouldn't rule out Scotland ruining somebody's slam.
