I'm not defending Coffey. Attack her for her politics by all means but attacking her for her looks -- which I assume is what you're doing -- is utterly shit whatever her politics are.Why else would someone defend Coffey?

After what she did? Tories are vile.I'm not defending Coffey. Attack her for her politics by all means but attacking her for her looks -- which I assume is what you're doing -- is utterly shit whatever her politics are.
Yes.After what she did?
I’ve been here ages and never been called a Tory.
Though I did get called “far centre” once.
Possibly worse than Tory thatI’ve been here ages and never been called a Tory.

Left-wingers attack the policies that Tories advocate. Why else would someone defend Coffey?
Surely it is the ultimate in "bent" to be a member of the House of Lords on account of what one of your ancestors did? Before the creation of life peerages, which I believe dates back to the 1960s, the titles awarded to Sue Gray et al would have passed to their children, and the children of their children, and so on.
Surely this isn't too difficult. This isn't about how vile Coffey is. It's about the values that you have. After what she did? Tories are vile.
I think we need to start an investigation. Why is Claire Fox a peer?I disagree - as fundamentally absurd as it is for someone to get a seat in the Lords because of what one of their ancestors did, at least it is out in the open (as in we know who they are and who will be sitting there after them) and at least the ancestor did something in the first place.
Now however we have the vast majority of people getting peerages for reasons that would never stand up to honest scrutiny. Why on earth is Claire Fox there?

"Far centre" implies that the there is another axis on the political map, at right-angles to the left-right line. That might have been me
It might have been "extreme centrist" which needs no axis."Far centre" implies that the there is another axis on the political map, at right-angles to the left-right line.
