Suella Braverman's time is up.

Good for them, and she can fuck off with her fake pretending to care about Jews. You believe cultural Marxism is a thing, Suella, you twat.
Something that would have been great for any interlocutor of hers to throw back in her face. Would love to see her reaction as I bet she has never been confronted with the truth of that before

Cruella takes another L

The High Court has ruled that the former Home Secretary Suella Braverman acted unlawfully when she made regulations last year that restricted the right to public protest. The judgment follows a judicial review brought by Liberty in which Public Law Project acted as an intervenor.

Thing is she'll love that as she can play the "we need to 'reform' the courts/quit the ECHR line" :(

Neither can this:

Suella Braverman claims to have contributed to a legal textbook. The author says she didn’t.

"The book’s author says Braverman made “no written or editorial contribution”, and simply did some photocopying."

Someone who claimed to have contributed to a legal text book when the author of the book states that she was responsible for some photocopying, and is subsequently appointed as a King's Counsel and a former Attorney General, before becoming Home Secretary, should face some consequences for this:

Suella Braverman’s decision to drop Windrush recommendations unlawful, court rules

Move BACK to the right? Aren't they already there? Why doesn't she just join Reform?
You hear this a lot from critics from the backbenches, that from Cameron onwards they've not truly been conservative, that they're too green, too soft, too fond of high taxes, too intolerant of Brexit. What's the saying about there are none too blind as those who cannot see?

I struggle to understand how she can possibly be some sort of BUDDHIST FFS...
Buddhism spans a pretty broad spectrum - from the chanting and meditating eschew-worldly-goods sort all the way to OUR RELIGION OF PEACE MUST DESTROY ALL OTHER FAITHS BY FORCE IF NECESSARY.

Pretty standard for all religions tbf. Braverman's faith, gender, race etc don't come into it - sometimes a cunt is just a cunt, and she's a cunt.

She knows she would be unlikely to be elected as a Reform candidate. If Reform does relatively well tomorrow she might consider it.

Stayed last night with GB news watching Tory member friend. She is a good friend despite of her politics. Which I try not to mention though it was unavoidable last night given election so close.

Anyway she is backing Suella for the next leader and basically gave me every GB news sound bite

Why, too brown?
No - too psychopathic - as if they'd learned nothing from the tradition - even dodges the universal Golden Rule...
Having watched "Kung Fu" as a kid I used to think I might potentially be some sort of Buddhist - of the walking on rice paper and leaving no trace variety - which is the core philosophy I retain from that.
Perhaps because I'm on the spectrum , I also lean on Star Trek TNG a fair bit
(Moving to France - land of the Baccalaureate "philo" - where I'll need to learn a lot more philosophy to function in polite company - let alone pass the citizenship test would doubtless broaden my range of sources :D )

My brother's a Buddhist. Zen, to be exact. He went on a retreat at Crosby and apparently there was a lot of meditating. His knees were in bits after the first night.

One yoga class 50 years ago the teacher had us hold a lotus position for about 10 minutes - I couldn't feel my legs afterwards and was stumbling around for another 10 minutes :(

I got better :)

I went through a crisis in 2016 and signed up for T'ai Ch'i - I lasted one session.
It seemed it might take 10 years just to learn to stand still.
