Fair points, but this goes beyond the rule breaking. It's repeatedly lying about the breaches, their scale, their frequency all along the line, including to Parliament. And seemingly feeling that he is entitled enough that we should allow this and make an exception for him, and that anyone who objects to this is being churlish.Johnson was wrong, of course he was, but so were a myriad of my neighbours, indeed, so were we. During the period where there were to be no gatherings, we had visitors, but visitors who were as scrupulous as we were re hygiene etc, and we sat outside.
There is more than a whiff of hypocrisy in this, politicians and people who work with them are just that, people, with all the frailties that involves.
