Copenhagen shooting: Gunman kills three in Field's shopping mall

Shoppers flee in panic after gunfire inside one of the country's biggest shopping centres.

Sounds like an active shooter in the Danish capital. The BBC seem to suggest some kind of hunting rifle used and someone in custody.

Danish police have arrested a 22-year-old man in connection with a deadly shooting at a Copenhagen shopping mall.
Police chief Soeren Thomassen said the motive was unclear, but that he could not rule out an "act of terrorism".
Mr Thomassen said several people were killed in Sunday's shooting, adding it was too early to provide exact figures.
Eyewitnesses have spoken of panic among shoppers as gunfire rang out inside the Field's mall in the south of the city.
Emilie Jeppesen told Jyllands-Posten newspaper: "You didn't know what was happening. Suddenly there was just chaos everywhere."
Another witness, Mahdi Al-Wazni, told TV2 that the shooter had carried a "hunting rifle".

their stuff online saying and naming an individual who been reported as mentally unstable
and has been posting videos on YouTube with him holding handguns and a rifle to head,
very similar to the weapon shown in video coming out of the shopping
centre

Could be a death by cop situation but seriously if a gun is point weapons to his head on a youtube account
with his name on it , kinda sad no one stepped in to check on him before today

I was there yesterday afternoon. The mall is close to where I live. We arrived as a stampede of people ran out the building. People were obviously panicked. A woman had lost her daughter. Me and a young guy went up to the first floor which was now deserted, there were loads of people hiding and crying on the floor in H&M. So we convinced them to follow us and as we came out of the store there was a shot from further round the concourse (the mall is a circle shape) and a load of people came screaming out of a fireexit, there was a tensa barrier in the way so I picked that up incase i had to throw it. Then I saw a guy who either had been shot or had been covered in someones blood all up the back of his legs. And we went towards the exit, as we went down the stairs i saw 2 guys with weapons coming towards us, this I later figured out to be cops, but they were in their own clothes. This well confused me.
Then I had a cop shouting at me with a gun so I raised my hands as I walked out. There were still cars trying to get into the mall. And not enough cops to secure the entrances, so I hung about directing people away from the building.

First photo is the team that arrested him I think. But they were still looking for a possible second perpetrator until later. This may have been (I think) by having some of the first officers on the scene in their own clothes.

Hearing the shot, I was like oh fuck, that sounded close. most important was to be calm. Because the mall was full of teenage girls going to see Harry Styles, there was alot of screaming. But in the situation you are thinking be quiet, are they hunting for people? So you put your fingers to your lips.
It seems the perpertrator was in the psychiatric system. The police are not offering any possible motives. It seems all victims were random.

And the only thing gong through my mind at the time was if my daughter was here, I would want someone getting her out safely and calmly so that is what we are doing. There was alot of traumatised people walking around after. All the kids doing their weekend jobs.

Wonder how he got a gun if he was in the psychiatric system.

it was legally owned but he wasn't the legal owner. Probably stolen from a relative.
