Joey Barton

smaller goals, pullovers as posts like it used to be when I was at school :(

male players would not want to play with women. They don't exactly like women very much. I generalise, but after all those footballers circled the wagons over Mendy, I don't trust the majority of them.

I've just thought of something else - I looked up Neville Southall to see if he had anything to say about Barton and I note he compared him to Forrest Gump and 'a puppy who wants his tummy tickled'. Barton was surprisingly polite about it and didn't threaten Southall or call him a fat queer or whatever. I wonder if it's because he knows Southall can and would tell him to go fuck himself right back.

Someone pointed out that in all 15 episodes of Common Sense, not a single guest has been female. All his guests have been men.

It figures. Who wants to hear a woman's opinion? We're only good for breeding and housework after all. Apparently on the Glinner episode, he went into a rant about vaccines. Of course, the defender of women's rights didn't say shit about Barton's opinions on women in football.

He would've been making about 75k a week at Marseilles and plenty before that so I doubt he gives much of a fuck.

On his X account, Barton, 41, said he had been charged over tweets relating to the football pundit Eni Aluko. The tweets are believed to have been posted during Aluko’s commentary on an FA Cup match broadcast by the BBC in January.

In a statement on its website, Cheshire police said: “A man from Widnes has been summoned to court to face charges of malicious communications....

On Sunday, Barton tweeted to his 2.8 million followers: “I’m up next month … for ‘malicious communications’ charge at Warrington Mag (sic) for Eni Aluko tweets.

“Crazy times we’re living in. Haven’t the police got enough on their hands? British system is becoming a Banana Republic. Lawfare used against its own citizens for having a dissenting voice. Not quite North Korea yet but won’t be long. Viva La Revolution.”
:)

Dissenting against what, exactly?

I feel so sorry for his daughter. I'm surprised he didn't leave her to die on a mountain.

Shortened, yes but I gather he's suggesting the plural noun is possessive...so isn't it convention that the apostrophe would follow the plural s and require no additional s?

Does he say that in a later post? As it stands, it looks like simple elision with no hint of the genitive.

Yes the use or misuse of an apostrophe is definitely the most important point in a post by an infamous bloke using 70s language to attack gay people

Great to see the courts are keeping this bilious prick busy

Retired footballer Joey Barton has been charged in connection with allegations concerning social media posts.

Mr Barton, 41, faces two charges of sending malicious communications relating to the BBC presenter Jeremy Vine and former England footballer Lucy Ward.
Cheshire Police said Mr Barton, originally from Huyton, Merseyside, but now of Widnes in Cheshire, will appear in a magistrates' court at a date still to be fixed.

The midfielder played for clubs including Manchester City, Newcastle United, Queens Park Rangers, Burnley and Rangers and moved into management after his retirement.
He was sacked from his most recent role of manager at Bristol Rovers in October 2023 after almost three years in charge.

And here he is, DESPERATE for attention on social media
