In the pub tonight most people said they favoured Nicola Sturgeon. What a pity this is S E UK..

By the first, I mean the leaders debate.
There has been more than one. Each had differing varieties of representation.

By the second, it is clearly not the whole of the West Lothian question - it is merely an aspect/variety/element/expression etc...
Read the links on the post you have responded to without reading.

I have nothing against dissenting voices. You're not dissenting against anything though. You're dragging the argument sideways down a blind alley as you always do. I don't know whether it's because you're genuinely thick or you enjoy the attention but it's disruptive and tedious.

Disruptive encapsulates dissenting.

Disruptive encapsulates dissenting.
Wrong way round; dissenting may include disruption.

You on the other hand are merely spectacularly missing every point put to you and imagining your bizarre misapprehensions are points.

First "the debate" is not the ITV programme. There have been several TV debates. The minor party leaders have been invited to some but not others. "The debate" is wider than all those programmes.

Second, the UK is a union of countries some of which have devolution. Those devolved bodies have varying powers. Even London, not a country, has devolution. Some of those issues are Westminster matters, some not. That is the WLQ.

Party leaders may or may not be elected MPs. Get over it.

Now, let's have the thread back.

Yes, because that's such a brilliant road to go down - groupthink and turn the volume down on dissenting voices...

A wonderful idea.

This..
I like Sturgeon but it is pretty odd that she is not standing and yet has such a prominent role in this general election.

Is there precedent for that?
...does not constitute dissent. Stupidity yes, dissent no.

"Let's have the thread back"

God it must be dull living in your echo chamber...
Do you know what these expressions you use mean?

Ok, so let's hear your dissent. Is it "why was a non MP on the first ITV debate?"

That's not dissent, it's a question. It has been answered.

Nasty lying bastard. How very "unfortunate" that he didn't admit that before being re-elected with a masswively reduced majority.

I'd forgotten how tall amy pond is. Makes me think some bad thoughts.

Good to know the gallifreyans and their allies support the SNP though, you just know in your heart that Cameron and Davros would get on like a planet on fire
