I miss kebabs. Used to have them for lunch at work once or twice a week from City Best Kebab round the corner. (Pitfield St.) Always a small lamb shish; and the kebab chefs remembered my preference: No bread, lamb not too cooked; just lamb in a box with lots of crunchy red cabbage salad, onion salad and cucumber with chilli and garlic sauce. Yum.

Many years ago I used to live just up the road from an absolutely awesome kebab place, I haven't had a takeaway kebab as good since then. Lamb shish or kofte.

Keep seeing these on various FB groups I'm on. I'm not sure I'm totally convinced (although would like to have a go). I can see them being a bugger to clean. And another thing to take up kitchen space, along with air fryers, spiralisers and bread makers.
