Gorilla bar? It's in the location you describe, and goes on most of the night. No tube carriage though - that was in the (nearby) Earache area.I stumbled (blagged) into a bar last year, that I think was a staff bar (it was post 6am), and had a sign up behind the bar saying "chill out, this is the only 24 hour bar on site".
What was it?!
It must have been in the SE corner. I think the DJ was playing from a Underground carriage? I think there was an underground carriage involved? I think it backed onto the railway road, and maybe round the back of Shangri-la??
Either way it was bloody ace, and I'd love to be able to go there again. Not least of all because it ensures a late drink. Is there anything one can do to acquire a pair or wristbands for it
I had one of those rather magic couple of hours when it felt like the DJ was playing for me. It was really a bit (personally) special.

Got my first glimpse of The Tor yesterday afternoon . Last day today , quite emotional , it’s been a great experience . Walked through Essex , Kent , Surrey , Berks , Oxfordshire , Wiltshire and finally Somerset .
A short 9 mile stroll today to my friends house close to the site .
After 16 days of relative abstinence due to the need to stay clear headed , I feel a decent drink coming on tonight .
A couple of days rest and then the all familiar 4 days and nights of mayhem and fun .

last day in work for 2 weeks, picking up Motorhome tomorrow at 11am from Hemel Hempstead, just been asked to give a couple of mates a lift, which will help with fuel / weed, then hopefully on site by about 5ish

Still need to buy wellies n cereal bars n some 3L boxes of wine. Tent Ive not used for years has just been tested out in the garden and I got well excited looking at the massive lineup this afternoon.
