Glastonbury 2014

I am seriously giving the idea of not doing this next year a lot of thought. I enjoyed it very little this year. Enjoyed Latitude far more, for all sorts of reasons. Mainly I get decent shifts and get to see tons of stuff. It eats so much time from me I can use to explore pastures new.

I think you have to pick your job ... I wouldn't do yours.

Not sure what you mean. I get thrust into that position. If I do go I am a steward at Glastonbury this year.

I have been partly talked into Nowhere as well as Burning man which will eat loads of time and money, but both are hot and dry and, well, different.

I meant I wouldn't steward at all tbh. Not now, a few years ago it was great now it's a bit remote being o/s. Although if I did work for O I would def be a pleb not a supervisor, that's where the fun is I think :)

I've heard good stuff about Nowhere

So, what's the plan tomorrow? iiuc Get numerous browsers open and phones ready - what urls / tel nos and what time to start? Do I just need to be armed with credit card? How many tix per person etc?

What are your plans / advice etc?

I don't remember exactly what I did last time but I made sure everything else that could connect to the internet was switched off and not using bandwidth. I recall getting through and being cut off but not to panic when I got connected again the details had saved, this happened several times. I also had one landline phone that I was redialling and eventually managed to get in a queue but got them online before the call was answered.

I've registered on Seetickets today and saved my credit card details to save typing them in but tbh honest I'm not sure that's necessary.

Bloody hell, sounds complimacated :(

Have set alarm for 8.30 - enough time to make coffee, get laptop / other laptop / iPad / mobile / other mobile / landline all set up and ready!

What's the URL page and tel no I need to have ready to go?

Good luck to all and make sure you have the right card ' UK buyers must use a debit card. International buyers must use a credit card. '

Glad I dont have to worry about tickets.

Good luck everybody going for tickets this morning. I really wasn't that fussed but now I have the fear!

If I had a ticket, I wouldnt care how long it took me to get home.

I'll be coming from Skye ( or Dundee if I'm lucky). :D

You say that but the 12 hours to travel 50 miles really tested me this year. Especially as 8 hours of that was spent sat in the car park! ; )

I've had a terrible night as well. I decided to sleep in the spare bed in the end so I didn't disturb Mr Riff.

What are we like eh? Don't think I was this nervous before my wedding. I was way more hungover though. ; )

Do I need to worry about getting a campervan ticket as well today or not? I probably won't even get through but I am at least registered
