I've been told (haven't checked, admittedly ) that Metcheck's forecast for the Glastonbury Festival and for Glastonbury town, on the same days, is noticeably different.
Until about the end of next week (IME, Metcheck do get better once you get very near), apply scepticism.
I'm not saying Metcheck are necessarily wrong to say there'll be significant rain, but using computer based models as a basis, with little or no human analysis (this far out) of the synoptic projections, is deeply dodgy methodology meteorologically. The Met Office laugh at their longer term 'forecast' methods and so do some real experts/geeks on Netweather. Plus Metcheck use precedent for comparable periods from previous years as a large element of what they come up with.
And as we all know, this years Glastonbury will not be like last year's
