Exasperated, not angry.
I think Melenchon may have something to say about thatThe opposition to all of these policies, which he is quite open about, is going to be the FN.

(my bold)When Macron starts to reduce the public sector, weaken labour laws and the working week, and tones down his last minute rhetoric of 'EU reform', whilst ever pursuing neoliberalism, where next for France in a few years?!
(my bold)
No idea. But it's still better than a fucking nazi being voted in now.
Yeah. But the way the world is seemingly heading at the moment I'll take some small comfort in knowing that at least 3/4 of France don't want a fascist in charge.Just got to hope on the likes of Melenchon building a solid left alternative to centrist neoliberalism otherwise the FN aren't going to go away and they might be even stronger next time. This is the problem.
How long before remoaner Tories, yellow Tories and red Tories start talking about a Brit En Marche?

Any words of wisdom from Donald Twunt yet?
Reasons for a vote for Macron amongst those who voted for him in the 2nd round -
43% opposition to Le Pen
33% the renewal of politics that he represents
16% his programme
8% his personality
Gee some people seem absolutely gutted Le Pen did not win. Funnily enough the same clown shoes who seemed quite chuffed back in November.
Or Farage and anymore of these 'unstoppable' populists?

A 39 year old with a political movement he founded less than 2 years ago roundly trounces the Left, Right and Far Right, giving himself the opportunity to completely reshape France's politics. Unlike Trump, who has the same opportunity, Macron actually has an undisputed mandate.
More a case of knowing that Macron represents a continuation/deepening of all that gives Le Pen her growing support base.Gee some people seem absolutely gutted Le Pen did not win. Funnily enough the same clown shoes who seemed quite chuffed back in November.
Nothing has changed since 2002.You think many of the voters endorsed Macron, they just held their noses to vote against Le Pen.
You have to wonder at what kind of puddle drinking scumbag would be unhappy at fascists losing? What goes through the mind of someone so twisted with hate and desire for violence that this is seen as a bad thing.
But then again most people in the UK will be revealed at this outcome. Its only the BNP, UKIP and a tiny fringe of mentally unbalanced hard left freaks that think differently.
Perspective and all that.
