Far-right response to Southport Outrage And Ongoing Violent Disorder

Fuck them since 1922, paedo loving boot lickers.

Aarghhhhhhhh. I don't wanna derail this thread but this is exactly part of what I'm railing against. All the paedo shit. While, like you say, they've been cunts since 1922, they've been political, directly an arm of the state. The paedo stuff is an alt-right dog whistle. You must know this.

Hate them for their ingrained political bias that helps create the dominant culture. Because that's what they do, first and foremost. And blatantly.

Fucking hell the live footage on sky news is really terrifying.

What you're seeing labeled as 'Latest Rotherham' is not actually 'live', as confusing as that label is, it's from earlier, the police took back control, and all is well at that hotel now.

Look out for the 'live' label, for actual live video coverage, rather than someone in the studio reporting on the latest, with footage from earlier/

Well there appears to be a police car just gone on fire in the crowd over the shoulder of the guy that's reporting live so it doesn't look like all is well tbh.

Agree about not derailing the thread and happy to agree to disagree but you can bump my Eric Gill statue thread if you want.

At the moment, this is small-beer by comparison to 2011 which resulted in half a dozen or so deaths, and rioting and looting on a completely different scale.

Yes. In Birmingham in 2011 3 Asian lads were killed defending their shop against black looters, and had one of the dads not come and called for calm there was a high probability of a lethal mass confrontation between the Asian and Black community around Lozells. Ambulances couldn’t reach the lads due to the extent of the rioting which was all over Birmingham and West Brom and Wolverhampton at the time.

Meanwhile, a police helicopter was shot at by rioters over in Newtown, Birmingham.

Whilst this weekend is potentially more significant politically, your point about the level and severity of the violence so far is correct.

You are probably right, it just feels worse to me because of the way it is targeted at people. And because I'm pissed off.

Point stands though, it is the closest comparison but I expect much lighter punishment.

I'm surprised (?) that the police aren't going into the crowds to pick off the ones who are masked up and throwing rocks and the like. How are they going to identify them? Track them on CCTV on their way home? As remarked they're likely the proper prepared nazis.

In terms of impact so far, yes.

However the combination of the idiocy of the protest generally plus the degree of coordination and organization is probably going to put some people in leadership roles behind bars for a very long time. As in, considerably longer than the recent JSO sentences for the M25 thing and that's if they only go after them for conspiracy to cause a public nuisance - there may be far worse offences disclosed that put life sentences on the table.

It's a bit harder for regional police forces, they don't have the numbers nor experience of the Met is dealing with this sort of shit.

I understand and share your anger, but so far the levels of violence and immediate consequences are incomparable.

I also doubt that your expectaion of lighter sentencing is well founded. Some of these turds will be going down for a very long time.

Watch this space.

if you want to complaint to the BBC, the correspondent is Phil Norton reporting from Bolton, time 1732, News 24 Breaking News on BBC news

'Pro British march' is the contested phrase

Thanks Miss-Shelf. Have submitted a complaint. Am pretty disgusted at the BBC's pro-racist coverage, especially when none of the other broadcasters are taking the same line.

I would imagine grabbing the perps at the scene would take manpower that Plod may not immediately have available. It would take them away from facing the rioters to haul off the perps and book them in.
It will be a lot more practical to round them up over the next few days when they're not expecting it.
I'm willing to bet that a great many of these 'patriots' already have long rap sheets and the Plod recognise them.

Yes. Snap.

I suppose I was thinking of things like the line of police in riot gear standing up along the wall of place (I assume) where the asylum seekers were housed just watching while the far right poured through the smashed up door.
