F1 2018

We are on a very long road trip starting next week for 3 or 4 weeks, so I'm not sure where we will be for the British GP and the German GP. We hope to be back by the time of the Hungary GP. Looking at the map we will cover around 18,000KM
Yep, I've been known to go that extra mile to find a decent drop of beer.

I want to fly to Montevideo and have the car shipped there and drive back, but the others want to drive and visit some people both on the way there and way back. Direct would be about 12,000km round trip but we have to zig-zag which adds thousands of kilometers

Flying and hiring cars would be much easier but cost loads more  I say fuck the money, sitting in a car for over 300 hours isn't something I'm looking forward to

Good morning all :)

Austrian Grand Prix news

Vettle gets a 3 place grid penalty for impeding Sainz
Alonso will start from the pit-land after breaking Parc Fermé rules, he has changed his MGU-K and also his front wing
Hartley will start from the back of the grid, Honda have said that "for tactical reasons" they have given him a new engine as well as a new MGU-H and turbocharger.

Was out in (the pouring rain) Cornwall and decided to pop in an unknown pub to dry off before heading home for the start of the GP.

Pint of local cider later the barman put the F1 on a BIG screen right in front of me  ordered a roast beef dinner (for £6.50 ) and more cider

I am done for the day :D
There's a spot or two of football later, so you might want to settle in for a session.

:)

Ah, the Red Bull team have gone all Austrian for the race.

Christian H in lederhosen.

Do we get to see Adrian Newey in a dirndl frock?

Hammy's tyres are blistered too.

I don't think the three in front will be immune to deg, so there might be some switcheroo to come.
