F1 2018

Sebastian is a bit of an odd one

does he feel the need to get bottas seat in the future

far to nice to hamilton in the later half of the season

:hmm:

I think I enjoyed seeing three world champions at the end of the race doing doughnuts for the crowds more than the race itself.
It's been a great season, hopefully I'll still manage to watch it next year but with no live free races (apt. from Silverstone) I can see my devotion waning. Happy for today but sad times for next year. :(:(
Well done Lewis.
Fuck you Murdoch.

Just a reminder to anyone who is going to start the F12019 thread, please put the calendar and teams with driver line up in the first post, it makes it easy to reference during the year.
If no-one starts one I'll do it myself next week

Yeah I've used that but it's a bit shit really, having to deal with the pop-ups, buffering issues & the dull Sky F1 team doesn't compare to having it live on my TV. I might consider paying for Sky if their coverage was superior but I find their broadcasts really tedious compared to C4.

ETA* although I still rate rate Ted Kravitz & Brundle, although the latter is feeling more & more obselete these days

I think the F1 official stream is the sky coverage, I like the sky coverage and the bonus is I'm stealing it from Murdoch ;)

I just had a quick google and it appears that That Horrible Cunt no longer has any stake in the company.

From Wiki

Prior to 2018, Rupert Murdoch's 21st Century Fox owned a 39.14% controlling stake in the company;[8] on 9 December 2016, following a previous attempt under News Corporation that was affected by the News International phone hacking scandal, 21st Century Fox announced it had agreed to buy the remainder of Sky, pending government approval.

So I may be able to suspend my self imposed ban on Sky and pay for the odd race here and there. Will see how the streams work out.
