England vs Italy (Group D) Saturday 14th June 2014

I really have no idea on this one, but I'll be watching it in a Berlin street so it'll be interesting to see if there's any love for England.
Hazard a guess that they'll favour England over Italy

Oh right detail-ish. Desperate defending from England at points. Italy capitalise on defensive mistakes. England long ball, momentary genious, 2 counts. One of which ends with hitting the bar, the other an Italian corner. England's goal comes from a free kick just outside the area / penalty. Italy's goal, a dreadful defensive mistake but a tremendous finish by X

Or. Something completely not like that.

How will you measure the level of love?
Well, it's been pretty easy to work out who the locals have been rooting for so far (e.g. the cheers for the Netherlands goals were very enthusiastic), so hopefully it'll be equally clear cut for the England game.

I can't wait for the news :)

Interesting, the Dutch detest the Germans :D

1-1

I will be arriving at Las Palamas airport at 22.45 tonight. I reckon we can get through customs in 15 minutes, then I'll find a telly for 45 minutes while mrs b picks up the car and comes to collect me.

I'm sure that'll work :)

This is Group D btw :D.
Sturridge to score 1st Italy to win 2-1 will be watching the game with my OH's family who happen to be Italian, hope Engurland don't win as they will be insufferable

I'm thinking 0-0 too; low scoring at any rate.

However, I got a free bet from Paddy Power so I've used it to make a ridiculous bet at 350:1 for England to win 4-3. :D

Also 6:1 for Sturridge to score first, which is more likely.
