Ha. Seriously though, you probably don't see it, but there's nothing worse than settling down to watch a match and there's 30 minutes of pre-match bullshit about a team that isn't even playing. I want to know more about those teams, and more about the host country etc., but no, it's always about fucking England. Tonight, you can have hours of Twitter quotesand shots of Hodgson in shorts, as much as you like of Rooney alighting the team bus....but not in a game that has fuck all to do with you. And don't accuse me of bitterness ya cunts, I pay my licence fee. C'mon Italy!

On this evidence, England should have nothing to fear from Uruguay (although their kneecaps might) - even with a half fit suarez.

I have no problems at all with you supporting your team, I just wish I could have more about the teams actually playing. This afternoon had half an hour of it, ok, there is some relevance tonight because of the same group. It's like ITV's Champions League commentary always going on about Man U.
