It's guaranteed to be on for 90 minutes, even if there's a "knockout blow" after 10.It is on pretty late.
Sort of reminds me of staying up to watch Mike Tyson fights, you waited till the small hours then it was over and done in no time at all!
I hope it isn't like that tonight, it would be good for England to start with a win!
I hope they put on a good show. Not expecting anything like the Dutch but it would be niceIt's guaranteed to be on for 90 minutes, even if there's a "knockout blow" after 10.
what sort of idiot goes food shopping on saturday afternoon??I might see the end of it. It's right in the middle of my Saturday grocery shopping time. I'll try to catch Cote d'Ivoire Japan at 6.
Glad to see a long time Barmy Army favourite making the transition to footballBBC news just now filming England fans in Manaus singing: "In the jungle, the mighty jungle.."
These colours don't run.The Italian family across the road have put a massive Italy flag on their balcony, so my mum has just had me dig out an old flag of mine from when I used to go in for that sort of thing and iron it
Just off to pin it on our balcony...
yeah thats what ive heard... i associate italy as the classic highly defensive passing side, but supposedly under the current regime they are much more dynamic... i think there will be at least one goal todayItaly aren't so cautious these days.
Teams like Italy and Brazil are too cool to play well in anything other than finals, I dont think its worth reading anything into those recent stats, in fact I would bet on Italy each way to win the whole thing but im a bit tight this monthItaly conceded nine goals in qualifying, including two at home to Armenia
More than any European group winner besides Germany
yeah i thought the germans really look down on the dutch too, though i guess its a bit like people in england supporting ireland over spain.Interesting, the Dutch detest the Germans
whats wrong with that? don't want it all creased - what would the neighbours think?and iron it
what sort of idiot goes food shopping on saturday afternoon??
you need to sort your priorities outWe don't shop at large supermarkets. We shop at small local greengrocers, butcher shops in neighborhoods with lots of coffee shops, food stands etc. It's quite pleasant.
