Uruguay vs England (Group D) Thursday 19th June 2014

I think there is some truth in this tbf. Like I said before it's that Friday night atmosphere exported.

It's absolutely a British thing not an English thing though. I don't think 'oh don't worry they're not English they're actually Glaswegian' is something you'd hear often.
You'll see Scottish fans mixing with other fans much more than englund ones

The culture is very much British but doesn't seem to extend to the Scottish national team's fans, who seem to behave better than everyone else from Scotland for some reason, or if that's not true seem to get away with it!

How come Rangers fans trash Manchester but Scotland fans are good as gold?

Not a sarky question. I think it's interesting.

Ask any england fans who've been to Turkey whether menacing vibes are a uniquely English gig. They aren't.

Seriously fwances fuck off

Come an have a go if you think yer ard enough x

Quote me anything I've posted that is purile personal stuff

Your dad's a rent boy and you were "born" out of his bottom after he did the "Ai no corrida" trick with a pickled egg. For a cola cube.

And that's why you say "ai" instead of "aye" - you perverted filthdog.

Well done boy, true to form

When Bukowski worked nights at the post office one of the black lads he worked with called him boy - He went "Listen baby, if I called you boy, you'd draw steel on me" - There's no danger of welsh pussyoles drawing steel on anyone though, soft twats just take it.

Oh yeah & you're a racist. Just because.

Has your mum still got the restraining order out on you? :( have to make yer own scran? :(

LOL @ ccraigy trying to bite my style.

And the fact that you mention scran speaks volumes about your unacknowledged eating disorder and your unsuccessful attempts to camoflage it via veganism.

You're shifting around a little here. You've moved back from 'it's not about hooliganism, it's about the general atmosphere England fans create' back to something that very much is hooliganism.

It is true though that Scotland fans don't have that sort of rep. I can't say for sure why that is, but throwing a few ideas out there:

- they do it on purpose to show up the English. (I have seen this seriously suggested btw)
- there are a lot less of them. That makes it easier to mingle and less likely there'll be trouble
- the people I know who follow Scotland are a pretty middle class bunch tbh. I might annoy some Scotland fans with that and I don't know how representative that is, it's just a thought

Spanish fans are generally noisy and nothing else. Which team was this? Atleti? There aren't any Spanish chants that will have been directed at the local population that I can think of. What were they singing? Calling Mourinho "hijo de puta"? Was there any trouble?

Even in the event that this was true there's a difference betwen odd events and general truths.
Large amounts of shouty fans from any country or sport can make people uncomfortable. That's the general truth of course. It's not something particularly English.
