Beginning of the tournament I optimistically, bit tongue-in-cheek, reckoned we might make the quarter-finals. We surpassed that, played some great football and for the first time in ages looked like a team. I'm disappointed now, obviously, but am really proud of how far we got and optimistic for what this young team will do with this experience under their belts.

Sad this evening, but sort of happy too. Nice one, England. It was a fucking blast.
