I'd only half-registered that Cavern of Antimatter (Tim Gane from out of Stereolab's band) have a new one out - track on their website are very promising... also a remix by Karen Gwyer who is wonderful.

I was just gonna post about this album. Really loving it. I read that he's putting an album out with BADBADNOTGOOD. Will be looking forward to that.

If you can look past the laboured Green Street inspired video you may get a nice idea of what's in store for us.

Spotifying the new Beth Orton album. I found her boring first time round, but am enjoying this a lot so far - kinda folksy, electronic, psychedelic backing and her voice is very sweet in places.

I've just pre-ordered the new Ex-Easter Island Head album - you can hear some of the tracks on their bandcamp. I saw them a couple of months ago doing it live and it was the best thing I've heard so far this year - they use electric guitars in new and unusual ways to make minimalist / gamelan style percussive music.

I've just discovered Steve Mason (Beta Band, King Biscuit Time) has a new one out. He's always dependable.

ETA: I bought it today and am nearly through my first play of it. Very consistent and well worth investing in if you like either his solo work or the Beta Band.

I am liking it , playing it now .
