Who will win?

Trump now leading North Carolina by almost 10 points with 26% reporting... doesn't look good.

Has anyone done the maths to figure out what swing states Harris needs to secure a victory? Could Pennsylvania, Michigan and Wisconsin be enough assuming all non-swing states go as expected?
I'm wishing I turned the TV off after bingeing ' until I kill you' and gone to bed. :(.
Anyone got any positives please.

The Guardian is reporting lots of people have been removed from voting rolls and not told about it. petee bcuster Yuwipi Woman how much effect will this actually have?

It could have a huge effect. People could show up to the polls unaware that they've been removed. That means that they can request a provisional ballot, but there's some doubt if it would actually get counted. I think I've mentioned before that I was removed from the roles earlier this year. I had to re-register. I was lucky enough to get a letter telling me that I'd been removed, and I needed to clarify my residency.

What is this 'ballot curing' stuff about Yuwipi Woman ? Seems like they're deliberately making it as hard as possible :(

In main-in ballots, if you forget to add your signature or check a box, or otherwise don't complete the ballot, it may not get counted. You can do a ballot curing where you go into the election office and sign the ballot.

Last election, Trump was leading he went to bed. Next morning, he found out he lost....

There's this thing in vote tabulation in the US called the "red shift." Rural areas get counted early in the night because there's less of them to count. Those tend to vote Republican. The cities generally get counted later and tend Democrat. Over the course of the evening it;s likely that it will look like Trump is winning, but it may shift overnight.

the CNN exit polls seem to say Harris will (very very narrowly) win Pennsylvania & Wisconsin, but (very very narrowly) lose Michigan - and not gain any other state. although N Carolina is very very close too.

Is that enough to win if there are no surprise upsets?

Has any state changed hands yet?
Nope. Basically, most states are foregone conclusions. The key results you are looking for are Arizona, Georgia, Michigan, Nevada, North Carolina, Pennsylvania and Wisconsin.

Of course, there could be an odd surprise shock but even more unlikely when the election is this close. Those 7 states is where the election will be decided.
