I was married to an American for a while. Their polling cards are fucking bonkers, you don't just vote for the president... I remember ticking boxes for her coz she couldn't be arsed. Like 30 odd things.. including the size of shots (this was south carolina, I went for large)..... such a surreal country,

Early days but N Carolina starting to trend toward Kamala is the first very encouraging news for her, I've seen, so far.

Depends if Charlotte is counted yet; it's continued huge growth must be driving the change in vote share. In 40 years it's gone from a city the size of Hull to one similar in size to Manchester.

CNN projects Dems to retain North Carolina Governership. Does that bode well for the Presidency?

maybe not, the GOP candidate for governor is toxic.

Was wondering why there seem to be massive queues in the USA to vote when I've never had to queue once in Britain, for voting. I guess that would explain it, a lot.

there were a few massive queues in ..... can't remember if it was 2010 or 2015. Massive ones that took another hour and half to finish after 10pm. It was either to elect Clegg or to dump the fucker.

Looks like Trump has won Miami by a pretty big margin.

Not a massive surprise as it's full of lunatic right wing latinos obssessed about communism.

Was just a shame they dumped him for a drunk, junkie scammer!

Trump now leading North Carolina by almost 10 points with 26% reporting... doesn't look good.

Has anyone done the maths to figure out what swing states Harris needs to secure a victory? Could Pennsylvania, Michigan and Wisconsin be enough assuming all non-swing states go as expected?

Why's Jeremy the cunt vine on ch4? Thought he was now doing a shite show on 5. Maitliss the Corbyn hater also!

Think it was 2017. David Dimbleby opened the election show by telling the state apparatus off. Was quite funny.
