It was perfect and not another person around, so we had the peace and quiet to do what we wanted to in an unhurried manner.

e2a: it was the churchyard where many of his/our ancestors were buried, but more importantly he wanted the view across to the pub that his Uncle had run for many years!

I've got a massive bush

in the front yard. I love it as it flowers multiple times in the year and always on/around my birthday at the end of Jan. Also it annoys the shit out of Steve The Racist next door.

Anyway loads of spiders have spun webs between the top of the bush and the overhead cables. They're loving it flywise.

Edited to add: coming from Leicester, the annual "July Fortnight" in the 60s and 70s (when most factories closed) was almost invariably spent in Skegness. So, many happy memories. And a few dodgy ones.
