Anyway, tonight a good bit of winter stodge:

sausage, mash, some buttery savoy cabbage.

Followed by apple crumble with cinnamon and sultanas, and some cream.

All completed and eaten. :)

Too much peeling for my liking - spuds and apples. I HATE peeling.

It doesn't help that I'm always accidentally thowing the peeler out with the peelings

man, i just fucking burned my pizza cause it was at 500 F in the oven and me gf called and i forgot about it....burned to a cinder

now i have to take out the frozen spaghetti & meatballs :D

All cooking now...

Fondue served with:

Freshly baked baguettes
Chunks of red pepper
Herby chipolata's
Silverskin onions

Modesty aside that was a fookin great meal :D

So easy, tasty and fun to eat!!!!

:D

Gonna keep it simple tonight, I can see some sort of tuna pasta or maybe even just beans on toast.

Not feeling too inspired tonight, and it's (comparatively) chilly, so probably some kind of pasta-tuna-tomato-spicy stodge thing.
And wine. Lots of wine.

Found some beef mince in the freezer so I'm making chilli. I usually make it with pork mince but we've run out. Kinell, what with this beng the last packet of mince I'm going to have to think of something else to cook

I had to take our poorly cat to the vet last night ( :( ) so we are having last night's dinner tonight - sweet potato and pea curry with dhal and rice.

Hope Hoggy is alright missfran! :(

We're probably having something really boring tonight, trying to use up stuff in the fridge because it needs defrosting before a new superbug emerges from our horrible freezer box.

takeaway curry.

we're moving this weekend, i'm tired of eating pasta because i've packed everything except the saucepans and i can't be arsed to cook.

Seconded

well, I have bacon, I have cheese, and I have a tomato. So I'm gonna make a scooby snack for my tea, involving this lot and 4 pieces of toast

The Hogster has a urinary tract infection and cysititis (his wee was all bloody  ) - it's serious and he will need to be on a special diet for the rest of his life, which means no more cat treats for poor Hoggy. UTIs are often recurring in cats and combined with his FIV which will make it harder for him to recover, he's potentially a very poorly cat.

However, he is now on antibiotics and is still eating and drinking fine and showing no outward signs of pain, which is very positive. I'm taking him back to the vet tomorrow.

Also, he is a very clever kitteh - he kept trying to wee in front of us on Tuesday (and even did a bit of wee on Alex :D ) - we thought he was just acting up and attention seeking (as advised by my friend who is a vet), but really he was trying to show us there was something wrong. Thankfully, he did a wee in the kitchen and I saw it had blood in it.

So on balance, poor Hogmeister, but it's not as bad as it could be.

And that was much too much detail about cat wee in a thread about what's for tea.
:D :D

Aww bless. One of mine had that, it's recurring with her too, but she's not +

I find the lightweight litter actually aggravates it - brings it on. The woodbased litter she's fine with. And she has to eat wet food too not dry

Poor Hoggy - I'm sure he'll be fine with mama fran looking after him

We use catsan litter. Is that good? I didn't know that was a factor.

The special food they gave us is very wet, and he chowed down on that happily this morning. He even took his pill, he's such a good boy.
