What's for tea tonight? (#8)

Haha, we had exactly this (minus the stuffing) yesterday :D

: D

It was gorgeous and perfect for a gloomy, rainy day.

Bonus is there's loads of spuds, stuffing and a chicken breast left so I get lunch tomorrow too as I'm studying at home.

We've got cheesecake too if we can manage it later. Vanilla with raspberry cream.

After a long rehearsal today, I came home to find the missus had made a fucking awesome beef stew. Perfect for this shitty weather.

Mixed kebab, frites, salade. Tartare sauce :confused: followed by profiteroles which were a bit frozen (yay, France) and lots of wine.

I'd like to eat Anita Rani for my tea but since that isn't going to happen I'll have to settle with a bean burger with lime yoghurt

these are good... I used to make them quite a lot!

Bit scared of the cooker at the new house - there are rusted holes around the gas burners and you can see flames below the cooker top which can spread to light other burners which are not turned on.

So I'll be getting the camping stove out for this week's culinary challenges, starting tonight with macaroni cheese.

:eek::eek: Blimey!

I'm gonna make what I couldn't be arsed to make yesterday cos we were snuggled under a blanket ont couch watching telly :D So it's a fuckoff massive pan of quorn chicken stew then with everything thrown in, from blackeyed beans to farfalline to lentils

I want to get Swedish quorn balls to have with spag boll but I don't know if Morrisons do them and Tesco is currently cut off from us by tedious road works.
I only like them because it gives me an opportunity to sing "On Top of Spaghetti" as I'm serving tea, which I hadn't been able to do for years until the invention of Quorn Balls - obviously I'm too busy idle to make my own.

Got a plumber mate stopping by after work, odds on he's going to condemn it and disconnect it.

I've just ordered a shiny stainless steel Smeg cooker to be delivered on Thursday, proper cooking porn :D
It's going to be very dull cooking if you are not risking your life when you turn the gas on
