What's for tea tonight? (#8)

Runner beans (also sometimes/regionally known as string beans, although here string beans are green beans)
You can get flat french beans as well and hybrids of french beans and runner beans . Runner beans only do well in certain climates as the flowers don’t set in heat.

We had a gorgeous tea last night - cheesy baked spuds (Maris Piper, proper fluffy inside), leftover brown rice, sour cream and 3 bean chilli, eaten by the fire in the yard

Tonight's tea is pizza. Ham, mushroom and mascarpone for me, 4 cheese and balsamic red onion for him, garlic bread, and mixed salad. Quite fancy a grated carrot salad, after seeing nogojones post about theirs. Will dress with dijon, olive oil and lemon juice. Nom!

Tiramisu and blueberries for afters.

That grated carrot salad was fucking well fit - apparently a staple in French restaurants, dahling. Fancy!

Tonight's tea is matching the weather forecast - mashed spuds, Richmond veggie saussies fried with onions, broccoli, peas, and onion gravy.

Wholenut choccy for afters.
