US election 2020 thread

Trump has to win Florida to stay in the race, Biden doesn't. Who knows though.
Absolutely, too much importance is placed in Florida (partly cos it starts early), dems don’t need it and Clinton did do very well there last time

One of her better states, v effective in getting her vote out. Looks like being lost by the same margin as last time with a big swing to Trump in Miami-Dade and swings away from him everywhere else

Further betting market tightening. I’m assuming that this is Florida? Already clear that the Biden landslide delusion was miles off. The rust belt needs to get the useless twat over the line:

Worth saying that the Democrats did fairly well in the 2018 mid-terms despite not making gains in Florida. Florida doesn't follow the same demographic rules as other states.

It’s insane! It’s just noise.

and same stuff repeated over and over biden doing well here but trump doing well there and biden overperforming here compared with clinton but underperforming elsewhere.

Overperforming with clinton sounds faintly distasteful tbh

The American board is sure it's Trump winning. They almost all don't want him to, but he has too many states already.

I'm going to go to bed and hope I wake up being wrong about all this.

He has one swing state and nothing else that he wasn't going to win anyway

Honestly, it is still too early

poll on cnn early in evening pointed to people saying they were voting on policies much more than on personalities
