What about the siege of Tobruk?I reckon theyll be a breakthrough in the next month.
I suspect the Russian defensive line is under more pressure than they admit. You cant hold a defensive line with just minefields and tank traps.

Perhaps I should have put a little more context . The article was a reply to another Ukrainian , Golinkin who has written about Azov and the far right . The reply was retweeted by Francis Fukuyama .Why have you shared this The39thStep

I see he ignores the existence of women fighters, unless he thinks they exhibit "masculinity and virility". Either way, what a plonker. Can you get pills for deracination, self-neutering and emasculation in the West ?

And FF was so right about the end of history and the calm gentle world we have been living in for the last few decades....Perhaps I should have put a little more context . They had air power and highly motivated troops.
Also it was defending one place not a 1000km front line.
Also they were bad ass Australians.

If Ukrainian troops are habitually exhibiting their virility on the battlefield I'd hope that someone is telling them to put it away and get back to fighting.I see he ignores the existence of women fighters, unless he thinks they exhibit "masculinity and virility". Either way, what a plonker.
Note that this law is not to allow OAPs to enlist, which they have been allowed to do for over a year. It is to allow them to be conscripted.Men in their seventh decade?
tbh it's not her comments that are worth talking about but the action that she took, on which you are unsurprisingly silentI thought i'd take a look at what the Harvard analysts were saying in connection to the war these days and yes being full on Merrikan experts they still have a complete lack of self awareness and the hypocrisy this instils in them when they comment on the game

Like many Americans, many Russians don’t care about politics or international relations, and they don’t question the news they watch. They want to think well of their own country and will likely resent having their troops accused of killing innocents by an anonymous email landing uninvited in their inbox.
Cross posted from the Musk thread
Article about eh Starlink satellite system with an emphasis on the Ukrainians' reliance on it for military uses. Essentially Musk has too much leverage with this technology and not just with Ukraine:
Elon Musk’s Unmatched Power in the Stars
As an aside I know two people who have Starlink over here as they live in the countryside and can't get fibre optic. It's very simple to set up out of the box, it's mobile, good speeds and it's competitively priced. Only downside I guess is compatibility issues if you wanted to migrate to another supplier , the cost of which would be huge large scale.Fucking hell that article is a little terrifying to me. I had no idea of the scope of his satellite network and how much relies on it.
Powerful video of queer Ukrainians involved in the war. (Using their own definition, as a straight man I would normally say gay but following their preference I will use queer, hope that is OK?)
I found Andrii's explanation of where he is coming from fascinating. From about 8.27. Sums it up for me, precis: he is working alongside people that normally wouldn't drink in the same bar but they currently are. They may not after the war but for now...they have to. Watch it, he puts it better than I do.
Also they see this as an existential war. If Russia wins, their life ceases.
And how do you feel about that? Thanks for posting that spitfire, a good watch. Turns out someone I know here knows Andrii as they work in the same area of psychoanalysis.
