Traitors '25 Starts 1/1/25 8pm

I read the Tattle thread and was interested to see other autistic posters saying they liked Dan. I know he's a bit abrasive but I don't think he's using his autism as an excuse to be a dick, more like he's explaining why he acts the way he does.

I’m not Autistic (although admittedly another flavour of neurodivergent) and I really like Dan, and that’s despite strongly disliking his stance about only thinking of himself during the boating mission. Which is always a sign that you’ve warmed to someone on this programme; when you can see them as a well rounded person who you can agree and disagree with. If you haven’t it’s so easy to go down “they’re such a nob!” route! Which is the viewers version of “they’re a Traitor!” I guess.

What is this Tattle thread you talk about? :)

So has Charlotte completely dropped the Welsh accent now? :D

I'm on catch up but couldn’t help myself looking at this thread.
I'm sure it's probably been mentioned on this thread before (I wasn't here at the start) but putting on a fake accent has to be up there as one of the dumbest things anyone has ever done on this show. Continual effort involved for no actual reward because no one will actually care, especially considering there were literal Welsh traitors in the last series.

I had wondered if these lame deceptions this year were pushed by the show onto willing people to hide a bigger, actually more interesting deception that'll be revealed later on. Or maybe I'm giving the producers of the show too much credit here.

I like the idea that priests are incapable of deceit. They cannot play poker, or lie to their children about bedtime, for their sacred vows forbid it. I like the way that all these clique-mispronouncers have taken this supposed fact about vicars on trust.

Still very much team Minah, the failed seduction of Anna could only have backfired on Linda, if revealed, so I assume she manipulated her into it for the same reasons she went two-footed on Armani.

I think Dan's really annoying. Super confident and wrong all the time, particularly about Minah. Ideal for this programme tbf. I can see the burgeoning war between him and equally annoying teacher bloke being very entertaining.
The teacher is just awful. He’s all the worst parts of Dan and absolutely none of the positives, or indeed any positives I can see!

I do try and remain mindful that editing plays a huge role in how we see people.

I get those two blokes mixed up. The Northern English white guys without beards who aren’t the shitlomat. I sometimes struggle telling them apart from Jake too, but he handily has a beard. And a nicer smile. As the numbers dwindle I’ll learn. Maybe.

They should have a deathmatch on the side to thin out the numbers of the overly-confident.

Would certainly improve the dreary missions. The game of choosing doors (while pretending that the option of numbering them one to four from the left was unavailable) was a new low.

A Welsh traitor with a strong Valleys accent, to boot.
