The Pro-NATO Left

We do sort of have a thread for him already:

I'm sure there are others.

An interesting view of NATO's evolution, and the liberal left's transformed view of the alliance.

An unexpected entry: saw the Communist League (the ones who sell the US SWP Militant) out in Liverpool today, turns out they're very strongly pro-Ukraine: Defeat Moscow’s war on Ukraine! Defend Ukraine independence! – The Militant Probably not actually pro-NATO though, but this seemed like maybe the best thread for this bit of trainspotting?

Can't say I think about the Communist League that often, but if I had to put money on it my prediction would've been that they'd have some mad pro-Putin line. Looking them up apparently they're a split from Socialist Action, who are notably quite a bit less pro-Ukraine.

They stood in my constituency in the 2015 GE and I think they've maybe stood for the odd council ward too. Certainly remember seeing their posters up in some local shops (not sure if there's some PKK or whatever connection but they were Kurdish-run places).

In passing, while I remember, this is impressive even by the high standards of UK far-left electoral campaigns:
Peter Clifford withdrew his candidacy in the Greater Manchester mayoral election, due to take place 4 May 2017, citing the cost of the deposit.[8] He stood instead in the 2017 general election for the constituency of Manchester Gorton, gaining 27 votes, equating to approximately 0.1% of the vote.[9][10] Andrés Mendoza also stood as a Communist League candidate in the Islington North constituency for the 2017 election, receiving 7 votes.

So far the only group listed here is the Communist League being pro-Ukraine, and Paul Mason as an individual. Any others?
