I'm getting the pro-China thing coming up on my SM from the pro-Putin crowd, I hadn't noticed it before. Saying the Uyghar oppression is a myth, just an excuse for the USA to get stuck into China.

This is probably what you are thinking of. A lot of the misinformation about Xinjiang circulating left wing media is funded by Roy Singham, a billionaire tech magnate with ties to Huawei and extensive commercial interests within China (and also a lot of political connections).

I would imagine they probably weren't massive, especially since there were other things going on that weekend, so their appeal would be limited to either people who would be prepared to prioritise StW stuff over rail strike stuff, or people who had enough time and energy to do both.

But i been speaking with Russians and i been given telegram links to the Russian military. There is a obsessed russian on telegram who provides updated information on the special operation inside ukraine. And thankfully Russia is winning the war. Many towns and cities have been liberated and taken from the nazis
