The Nazis - left wing or right wing?

Red Jezza said:
errr...I've met po' white rightwingers from the Deep south 9plenty of 'em) and it's same diff.

But that's just it: its *not* "the same diff." There is more difference between an Oklahoman and a Mississippian than between an Englishman and a Frenchman.

Once again, you reveal your utter lack of attention to the subject on which you pontificate so eagerly. Pbman has *said* he is poor more than once. He has also revealed a good deal about his thought-processes, often inadvertantly, and the more observant among us have learned from that. Unfortunately, you are not among them. You *claim* to be an American yourself, but if that is true it seems strange to me that you have never met anyone like pbman before. But maybe you just weren't paying attention again?

Um, Pbman isn't poor. He comes from a posh family who lives on the "gold coast." If I remember correctly his father moved the family away from there. His circumstances are diminished from what they were, but I wouldn't call him "poor." Perhaps by his family's standards he is.

<edited to add>
He's also only an Oakie by transplant. He lived for a while in Minnesota.

How many U-75 posters have ever met a poor white Christian Republican from Oklahoma?

Not my enemy, might be your though phil. I understand that it is good to understand how people like pbman think and act, but there is a limit, and it is not impossible to find others like him elsewhere on the net.

Well, look at it this way. What sort of employment do you think someone with pbman's literacy skills could expect to find?

He could propbably get a job with several tabloid 'newspapers', his skills look about right for that

I don't want to sound like a conspiraloon but he often deploys what appear to be classic psy-ops tricks: such as the constant and deliberate misspelling of the word "socialist".

Actually you may have a point there. Clearly no subtlety lies beyond the fiendishly brilliant, Machiavellian mind of pbman. He plays a deep game, that's for sure, and his intricate machinations are not always easy to follow. Anyway, its worth a try. Are you a socailist, Nino?

I believe that he has his own business. He runs a house inspection company (or some such). When I had my house inspected when I bought it, the cost for getting an inspection was around $400. That was a number of years ago. Not a bad take for a couple hours work.

The lack of literacy is a dodge. He's quite capable of writing a decent sentence. He's playing us.

Actually I've always believed that he is Noam Chomsky in disguise. But I think he's more likely to be "playing us" about being a house inspector than about his literacy. I mean, do house inspectors get enough time off to be on here as much as pbbman?

He's written me perfectly coherent, perfectly spelled pms. As for time, you only have to inspect one or two houses a day to make a good wage.

Personally, I've often wondered if he isn't some Scotman out for a laff on Americans.

Something to do with the dreadful economic situation in Germany after WW1 and the depression and scapegoating of the Jews I think - although history ain't my strong point - but I appear to have a better grasp than you!

I you don't think that communism or the threat of communism didn't play a role in Thirties Germany, then you might want to readjust your grasp on this part of history.

I've just read this thread the whole way through. you know I have a problem with the little shlemiel, but he really HAS to go for this. I'm utterly, utterly horrified. thank you for picking up on it.

Are you horrified by the anti semites who are constantly attacking everything Israel does?

Yep, not just with pbman either, the "seagull" technique (shit on you then fly away) has been used by quite a few rightists on this board (mears and Rachamim18 spring to mind as having regularly used the tactic).

It's like the old days: rampant paranoia mixed with logorrhea.

I don't accept that the jews brought the holocaust on themselves, in any way. I believe that fear of communism was instrumental in hitler's rise to power, but the hatred of jews that allowed hitler to scapegoat them, was much more deeply ingrained and ancient in Europe, than the advent of communism.

I think that any comment by pbman saying that the jews contributed to the inception of the holocaust, was ill considered and incorrect.

Would I ban him? No. I have seen comments that I would consider to be antisemitic escape from the lips of anti-zionists in threads over the years here, without the consequence of banning. It seems facile to me to raise one's flag of virtuous brotherhood with the jews in one instance, then turn a blind eye to a similar category of comments, made in the arena of discussions about Israel.

But that's not what pbman said, is it? Nobody (afaik) has denied that fear of revolution played a role in the rise of Fascism in Europe. What people have objected to is pbman's simplistic, anti-semetic arguments about the rise of Hitler being largely or even solely attributable to this entirely fictional genocide of innocent Ukrainian Aryans (WTF?) by Jewish Communists.

You must a real laugh to go out for a drink with as this post shows. Here you are, once again, not only missing the point, but you cannot resist the temptation to score cheap points.

I think you should be banned too. You are no better than pbman. The only real difference between the two of you is you know a few more words than he does. Apart from that, and if we look at the threads that you have started, we can see that your intention is to wind up posters, while pretending to yourself (and others) that you are [intellectually] vastly superior to everyone else.

You are vain, arrogant and as thick as pigshit. Your academic pretentions do not impress anyone.

I do not believe that you live in the states nor do I believe, as you have claimed on another thread, that you are "working in a library in Ecuador" (more likely an internet cafe in Colwyn Bay)). You are an inveterate bullshitter; a Walter Mitty whose own feelings of inferiority have given rise to the Internet persona of the arrogant pseudo-academic (we call this process, compensation). You're a fraud.

This means absolutely nothing...or haven't you grasped the fact that you've lost (again)? Instead of accepting the fact the peebs is not a native Okie, you decide, instead, to slip and slide around.

Fraud.

Idiot.

More bullshit from the master. It's not like this is one isolated incident. He has said other vile things before it's just that this time he was less careful about hiding it than he usually is.
And this is before we even get onto the fact that he's ruined countless threads with his idiotic shite.

Trust JC2 to defend his pet monkey. They are both as bad as each other...and now that phildwyer idiot has come along to 'defend' peebs and take a couple of swipes at me in order to make himself feel better. There is a term to describe his condition and there is help available but he has to want to change. :D

In the past, Pbman has said many outrageous, and offensive things but this time, he has gone way too far.

If he doesn't apologise, and retract his comments re: commie Jews v Aryans, then I won't shed a tear, should he be banned.

You don't believe I live in the States? Ask the Editor, he's met me in New York. You don't believe I'm fun to drink with? Ask Red Jezza, he's met me in London. You don't believe I was in Mexico (*not* Ecuador, fool) last week? Ask anyone here who knows me, and there are many of them. I believe it is *you* who are the "fraud." You claim to be an American, but your posts on this subject show an utter ignorance of the place. And now you have decided to claim that pbman is "deploying a classic psy-ops trick" by misspelling "socialism." Your agenda here is becoming ever more clear. Frankly, I think you should leave.

I wouldn't suggest that he is actively working on behalf of the USG, but the cult-like worship of the Leadership and "America's power for good in the world" and his propagandising/proselytising of neo con dogma; and the dissemination of planted stories (JC2 is good at this) is designed to stifle proper discussion - particularly, as in the case of the planted story, it happens to focus on a persecuted minority.

Actually Nino. I've long suspected *you* of covertly deploying a top-secret old psy-ops spy and psychological-manipulation trick when you constantly and deliberately always tell people to go away and read Foucault. I wouldn't suggest that you are actively working on behalf of the Institute de Litterature Francais, but your cult-like worship of Foucault is surely designed to stifle proper discussion. And to drive us all mad, of course. But seriously, do you believe in siocialism?

If we're being frank, I think you should stop being such a prick (I know it's too much to expect you to cease entirely).

You come across on Urban as (and I personally believe, from our "encounters" on this board, that you are, vouchsafing by the excellent Red Jezza notwithstanding) one of those people who can never admit to being wrong even when you are, so instead you pull this kind of tedious character assassination (where you even manage to mis-spell mis-spelling), similar to the type you used on dissenters on your "rational proof of G-d's existence" thread, to fill the cracks in your "argument". For fuck's sake give it a rest.

You too please nino. This thread is too important to be derailed by letting Mr. Planet-sized Ego wind you up.
